Hold on for this heartfelt wedding captured by Will and Co Photography! After eyeing each other off at the local pub, Jessica took a gamble on Luke and wrote her number down for him on a TAB slip. On their first date they discovered a shared love for chicken parmi, and they’ve been smitten ever since!
Sadly, Luke lost his beautiful mum a year later. He proposed to Jessica in their home near a photo of his mum, and they threw themselves into planning a fun but profoundly moving wedding with lots of gorgeous unique touches to remember those that couldn’t be there with them to celebrate.
Despite being a florist herself, Jessica entrusted her vision to Knot & Ko so she could relax and enjoy the day, and the burgundy tones of the florals carry through the wedding beautifully with stationery, signage and bridesmaids gowns all complimenting the always-gorgeous Marybank backdrop.
This couples advice for planning your own day?
“Be organised, communicate with your suppliers, ask questions and don’t stress out! Don’t be too fussy! If anything doesn’t work out to plan, you are going to be the only ones who will notice. Do what makes you happy, don’t plan the day around your guests, they will love it regardless! If you have a budget, use an excel spreadsheet to track costs and mark off deposits and payments to keep track of your spending. This helped us a lot!”
