The best weddings are the ones that truly reflect who a couple really are.
Once Victoria and Hugh started to plan their wedding, they were both in agreement that they never wanted to go down the traditional road. Instead, they focused on the people that matter to them most and made music the highest priority; which was kind of handy for them both given many of their friends are talented musicians.
The bridal party was also pretty unconventional ‘Hugh did not have a best man; instead, he divided up the traditional best man duties between several of his best friends. For example, the reliable ‘first officer’ got ready with Hugh and made sure he was at Stangate House on time, another looked after our rings and Poppy during the ceremony, and another clever, funny friend gave a best man speech that brought the house down!’ said Victoria.
This is the kind of wedding that throws away the imaginary rule book and focuses instead on what really matters and was captured so beautifully by Bridget Quain Photography.
