I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Grand Cru Estate recently which is a hidden gem of a venue in the Barossa/Eden Valley.
Set on 300 acres, this historic estate dates back to 1890 and was built by Peter Seppelt himself using handpicked stone from within the property.
Grand Cru has so much to offer couples looking for a private setting for their wedding with secluded courtyards, established and beautifully maintained gardens, a lake which is the perfect ceremony location plus a reception function room and a new addition of homestead accomodation.
Perhaps the most notable selling point of this venue is how welcome you’re made to feel. Nothing within reason is too much trouble at all.
The homestead which has recently been renovated, provides luxury accomodation and a unique opportunity for a Bride to get ready with her Bridesmaids and a place to stay after the wedding. Home from home, it provides thoughtful little touches to complete your wedding weekend.
Privacy is high on the agenda at Grand Cru with both big and small weddings being catered for. Infact, a recent couple held their wedding at sunrise with picnic baskets full of dreamy breakfast treats. How very unique and amazing is that?!
The team from GrandCru will be exhibiting at the Angaston Fair on 3rd May 2015. Angaston Town Hall 10.30am- 3.30pm $5 entry.
