Set amongst the stunning Adelaide Hills countryside between the city and Barossa Valley lies what can only be described as a gem of a romantic and unique wedding venue. Welcome to Al Ru Farm.
A privately owned homestead on a 10 acre plot, Al Ru farm offers varied options for your wedding. Being British born and bred myself, I immediately felt at home with the English inspired gardens and architecture of the homestead. There’s definitely a European feel about this lovely place.
If you’re only looking for a ceremony location then the gardens offer plenty of shade along with a myriad of photo locations and the perfect place for canapes and cocktails.
For your reception, there’s the option of the barn which includes a wall of stunning antique gilt mirrors with the rustic hay barn as a place to chill out as the party gets underway. Maybe a marquee is more your thing? There’s plenty of room for one here.
There’s also a chef onsite to cater for all your guests who is more than happy to arrange a bespoke menu just for you.
To make life easier before and after the wedding, there’s onsite B&B accomodation so you don’t have travel far at all giving you more time to relax and take in all of the excitement.
If you’re looking to inject some personality in your wedding then Al Ru Farm comes highly recommended not just by me but by the many, many couples who have got married here.
