The laid back relaxed and rustic Adelaide Hills wedding of Adam and Casey was full of love, laughter and many, many happy tears.
Casey was taken by surprise by Adam during a planned trip to Melbourne to watch the Formula One. Adam seemed a little rushed after dinner one evening on The Wharf to get to the Eureka Sky deck before it shut. “While we were in there a girl asked me to hold her jacket while they had a photo taken and her bf ended up proposing to her then! This made me emotional and I started to cry. Adam seemed a bit off and said we should go to the outdoor section to look at the view. That is when he came up and gave me a hug from behind and held out a ring and proposed. And of course, I said yes!”
They both agreed that they wanted to celebrate their wedding with an intimate gathering of friends and family and felt that the rustic touches of their venue and styling complimented their vision for their day which went perfectly from start to finish complete with lots of happy emotion and plenty of tears.
Casey advises not to get too stressed when planning and recommends asking for as much help from friends and family as possible.”It can be such an overwhelming experience and I had my fair share of thoughts of eloping instead. Try not to let it stress you out because on the day you won’t even notice it!”
The couple chose Bridget Quain Photography to capture their day who they met at one of our wedding fairs. “She was such a dream to work with and made me so comfortable throughout the day considering I hate my photo being taken!’
